Some traditions are worth keeping alive. For centuries, Port Wine was opened with fire and tongs, long before corkscrews existed. Once a month, Pot&Pan revives that ritual right on Gaia’s riverbank, where Port Wine was born.
A tradition few of us will have seen up close: tongs, heat, and a Vintage Port opened the old way, the only way some of the oldest vintages can still be opened at all.
Each edition features a different bottle, its story told before the tongs come out, so no two evenings are quite the same. Enjoy the notes paired with Head Chef Rodrigo Eichmann’s signature dishes.
