5-DAY IMMERSION FOR FOCUS, CREATIVITY AND RECOVERY

For people who want focus without burnout.
Work that moves. Rest that restores.

Sensinity Retreats × The Rebello, Porto

Porto · The Rebello · 13-17 September

THE CONCEPT

High performers don’t burn out from lack of drive. They burn out when recovery doesn’t match output.

In a world that expects you to be everything, everywhere, all at once, focus becomes a rare luxury. Work, movement, connection, growth – all competing for the same space.

This five-day retreat is designed to restore that balance. The Recovery Advantage is a structured framework that brings together strength-based movement, breathwork, psychology and deep, focused work.

Not as separate elements, but as one considered rhythm.

Mornings create space. Evenings slow things down. In between, you focus on what actually matters.
You leave with more capacity than you arrived with, real momentum on your work, and a system you can take with you. This isn’t just about stepping away. It’s about reconnecting with the ideas, projects and people that matter, through movement, focused work, creative practice and proper rest.

WHO IT'S FOR

A person sits at a tiled table in a café, typing on a laptop. On the table are a glass bottle of water, an empty glass, and a cup of coffee on a saucer. The person wears a dark jumper and light trousers.

FOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T WANT TO SPLIT THEIR LIVES IN TWO

Founders. Creatives. Remote professionals.
You’re done choosing between work and your wellbeing.

WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Real progress on something that matters
  • Focused work in a like-minded group
  • Movement that builds strength, not just stretch
  • Space to develop your own ideas, alongside others doing the same
  • Time to experience Porto properly

THE EXPERIENCE

A man with a beard and tattoos sits indoors, writing in a notebook. He is wearing a black sleeveless shirt and has his hair tied back, focused on his work with sunlight streaming through wooden slats behind him.

A RHYTHM THAT WORKS

Days begin with meditation and strength-based yoga to ground and energise, flow into structured deep work sessions designed for focus and accountability, and close with breathwork and intentional evenings that help you properly switch off.

THE REBELLO

A modern lounge with velvet settees, abstract wall art, sculptural chairs, a chess set, books on display, and exposed ceiling pipes; warm lighting and neutral tones create an inviting ambience.

A NEW HOTEL WITH AN OLD SOUL

Set across restored 19th-century warehouses on the Douro river, The Rebello blends industrial heritage with modern comfort.

You’ll stay in apartment-style suites designed for living as much as sleeping, with fully equipped kitchens, separate living areas, natural light throughout, and design-led interiors that give you the space to focus without ever feeling boxed in.

Between sessions:

  • Work from the riverside or the hotel’s relaxed social spaces
  • Reset in a Roman-inspired spa with indoor pool, sauna and treatment rooms
  • Head up to Bello Rooftop for sunsets over Porto
  • Eat at Pot&Pan, where local ingredients meet modern Portuguese cooking

Built for people who move between work and life without switching identity.

WHAT’S INCLUDED
  • 4 nights at The Rebello with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Daily movement, breathwork and structured deep work sessions
  • Spa access (pool, sauna and gym)
  • Cultural experiences: Livraria Lello, Porto beach trip, blindfolded dinner, ecstatic dance night
  • Pre and post 1:1 sessions with Niamh

MEET YOUR GUIDE

A group of people sit cross-legged on mats indoors, engaging in a meditative or mindful activity. Soft sunlight streams in, creating a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Cushions and blankets are spread around the wooden floor.

Niamh is a Yoga teacher, Breathwork facilitator and Somatic Coach with over a decade of experience spanning both corporate environments and entrepreneurship.

Five years ago, she stepped away from the 9–5 to follow yoga, a path that evolved into a somatics practice blending psychology, movement and breath.

Today, she works with individuals and teams, guiding them back into the body as a starting point for clearer thinking and more focused work.

Her approach combines strength-based movement, breathwork and nervous system regulation with structured focus, creating the conditions for sustainable performance.

A way of working where how you feel and how you perform move together.

“The Recovery Advantage was built for people who are tired of running on empty just to keep their projects alive. So often we treat rest as something we earn once the work is done, but the work is never done. What I hope guests take away are simple, repeatable practices – moments that remind them they don’t have to choose between ambition and wellbeing.”
— Niamh Byron
